Within Dungannon Baptist, we have several ministries to help our church and the community flourish.
Kids
The Amazing Club; The Amazing club is our Friday evening’s children’s gathering. We meet for an hour each Friday evening at 6.30pm for fun, games quizzes, bible stories and much more.
All children from school group P1 up to P7 are welcome to come to the club. Check our Facebook for more details.
Explorers; Explorers is our children’s ministry which runs each Sunday morning (formerly our Sunday School). We meet for half an hour during the church service on a Sunday morning. Most Sundays, it will be announced when children can leave to take part in Explorers.
The aim of Explorers is to teach the Bible as God’s word, by explaining its stories and truths to the children in a way they can understand. In addition we endeavour to make our time together enjoyable.
Explorers initially meets as a group for a story and prayers, and then splits into age groups for more fun.
All children are welcome to come whether or not their parents attend the church. We cater for kids from 4 to 12 years old.
Once per year Explorers goes on a trip away and parents normally come along too. This gives us the opportunity to get to know the families of those who come along and gives parents the opportunity to get to know the leaders.

Youth
180; 180 is our Youth ministry that currently operates every Friday and is run by our Youth and Community Worker Matty Reid and a group of volunteers. It is held within the church building for 1st year to Upper 6th (year 8-14).
It’s aim is to help our young people grow into mature Christians as well as have fun while doing do.
